Fleet

Wizz Air has a fleet of 160 owned or on order Airbus aircraft, with an average age of 5.5 years. The airline operates with different types of aircraft (A320, A321), but all have at least 180 seats. A330-300 / 400 seats is the most significant type of aircraft Wizz flies. It's easy to spot Wizz Air flights from the airport. The white and pink aeroplanes look great when they fly overhead.

Check-in Wizzair

Like most of the airlines, Wizzair offers two check-in options. Most convenient is online check-in. It opens as early as 30 days before the flight and it is available up to 3h before the flight. If you wish to check-in at the airport counter, an additional fee will apply. You can use a mobile boarding pass as well as print it in a hard copy. Some airports might not have the scanners to read mobile boarding passes.

Hand and hold luggage

When flying with Wizz, each person can bring One free Carry-on Bag (max. size 40 x 30 x 20 cm, 10 kg), which should be placed under the seat. Another, bigger carry-on bag - called a “Trolley Bag”- which you get when you add WIZZ Priority. Up to six pieces of checked-in baggage and Duty-free items purchased at the airport following security screening.

Services onboard

In addition to snacks and drinks, Wizz Air offers full meals on some flights, including hot meals on longer journeys such as flights from Luton Airport to Budapest or Katowice.
