The Griffith Observatory

The Griffith Observatory is an observatory in Los Angeles, California of the United States. It is a very popular attraction of tourists every year due to the close view of the Hollywood Sign and an extensive array of space and science related displays. It is located on the southern slope of Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park. It was the first institution dedicated to science in the United States and was opened in 1935.
